TASTE. The exhibition of Pitti Immagine will inaugurate the eighteenth edition from 8th to 10th February. It will be dedicated to the contemporary food world, through a journey into the diversities of taste. At Fortezza da Basso of Florence, over 700 businesses will meet up to represent the best of the enogastronomic production and culture. About 100 of these entities have been selected for the first time to be presented to the Taste community, after an accurate scouting.
The most awaited event by experts
This new event is considered the most awaited one by the sector experts interested to remain in the loop about news and trends, from pantry to the table and it will evolve in different directions. A concept, a little magical idea, a fascinating metaphor will lead the event: the constellations, bright stars alignments will draw the celestial sphere together. Therefore, in 2025, Taste will be a stellar, brilliant, catalysing, illuminating travel to map the universe of food and wine. There will be new exhibiting areas to focus the attention on first-time topics (the heroic wines), trends and new moments of consumption (breakfast). The itinerary inside the Fortress will trace unpredictable food constellations and thanks to a special Horoscope of Taste, we will discover new gourmet zodiac signs.
Monday will be the day entirely dedicated to a professional audience, while the Padiglione delle Ghiaie (the Stand of Gravels) will be prepared to host some of the calendar evening events of Fuoriditaste in a completely new way. The off programme will involve the best places of Florence with themed tastings and presentations.

“Born under the sign of Taste” is the topic of Taste 2025
The stars of the next Taste edition will switch on in the dark blue sky: they will be the sweet and salty excellences to eat and to drink. They will emerge as solitary stars, but they will shine even more together when – as a lot of bright small spots – they will get to draw new constellations, new combinations of flavours that will fascinate and surprise. So, in February, the exhibition topic will be “Born under the sign of taste”. Fortezza da Basso will become a captivating sky where news, contents and experiences will intertwine. The promotional campaign of Taste 2025 has been created by the award-winning creative agency Auge.

The news: Monday will be only dedicated to experts. During the three days of the event the opening time for sector experts and operators will be always at 9.30am – 6.30pm. The audience of enthusiasts will be able to enter only on Saturday and Sunday with a schedule 2.30pm – 6.30pm.
